What is SkyLow?
International Low Cost Airlines Search & Book Engine.
In a few simple words, How does it work?
Basically, the super engine is behind a user friendly web site interface.
No downloads and no extra software is needed.
- Enter the departure, destination, and date required.
- SkyLow will search its database of over 100 Low Cost Carriers, and find the relevant flights.
- Choose the flight that most suits your request.
- Pay immediately over the internet in a secured transaction.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the email entered + SMS eticket will be sent to the mobile number given.
- A copy of the eticket will be displayed on the screen and saved on the server.
- If you have registered at SkyLow (free of charge) and logged in prior to making the booking your bookings will be logged in and stored for your convenience.
How do passengers save money?
SkyLow searches a database of over 100 Low Cost Carriers to find the most suitable and cheapest flight for your client.
Low Cost Carriers are the new generation of airlines: they are much cheaper than traditional airlines, and cover more routes. On Low Cost Carriers, tickets can cost less than $1 !!
Traditional GDS (Global Distribution Systems) do not show Low Cost Carriers flights, and therefore travel agent are not aware that for the route needed. Their clients could be flying on a Low Cost Carrier and save an average of 80% of the ticket rate!
This rule applies to all the online travel websites known as “Meta Search Engines.”
About the airlines
What are Low Cost Carriers also known as Low Cost Airlines, No Frills or Budget Airline?
A Low Cost Carrier (or no-frills) is an airline that manages to keep its rates very low by offering less services to the passengers than regular airlines. For example, food or movie is not a free service in a Low Cost Carrier. Furthermore, tickets are usually non-refundable (you will lose the ticket fare if you cancel it) and non-endorsable (you may not change the passenger name on the ticket).
Sometimes, Low Cost Carriers fly to airports smaller and further away from the city than regular airports. Example, Beauvais is one hour away from Paris. Be sure to always check the airport of departure and arrival.
SkyLow is the first website to allow bookings on more than a hundred Low Cost Carriers. Soon, SkyLow’s users will be able to book seats on all the Low Cost Carriers.
What are the supported airlines?
For the whole list of supported airlines by SkyLow see “Supported Airlines”. New airlines are added on a regular basis, so be sure to check regularly this list for updates. SkyLow is the first website to enable booking on Low Cost Carriers in one aggregated website, with a user friendly of “4 steps to make a booking” mechanism.
How can I be sure that the airline is reliable?
SkyLow does NOT support any of the airlines blacklisted by civil aviation authorities!

Flight Search and book
Step by step guide to book a flight.
- Select your country of departure in the “from” section.
- Select city. If there is more than one airport in the city selected, choose the option city – all. (example: Paris – all) This will broaden your search to all the airports of the city.
- Select city of arrival in the “to” section. If your destination does not appear in the “to” list of city, it means that there are no Low Cost Airline flying from your departure to this specific city.
- Select number of passengers according to age.
- If you need a round-trip ticket, check the Round-trip button.
- Select Departure dates using the calendar. To move to further months, click on the arrow at the upper left side of the calendar.
- If you can leave one, two or three days before or after the dates selected, choose flexibility of one, two or three. If you need to fly on the day selected, choose flexibility of 0 day.
- Click on search – The list of all the flights corresponding to your search will appear. Those in dark blue rows are flights leaving on the date you have selected in the calendar. Light blue rows show flights leaving one, two, or three days before or after the date selected on the calendar (this is if you have not chosen flexibility = 0 days).
Fares always appear first in the currency as presented by the airline website, and then in dollars. You may choose to pay in one of these two currencies.
- Check the button on the left hand side of the row for the flight that best suits you. Be sure to notice the airport of departure and arrival. Some Low Cost Airlines fly to minor airports.
My destination does not appear in the “to” list of cities.
That means there is no direct flight from the origin to the destination. Currently we only support direct flights. You may combine your own connections if you wish to do so.
What is the “flexibility” option?
If you choose a flexibility of one day, SkyLow will find all the flights leaving on the date you’ve chosen, as well as one day before and one day after.
This feature is useful when you are flexible with the date. Note that some Low Cost Carriers only fly once a week to a certain destination. If you choose flexibility of 3 days, you will cover a whole week, which will ensure that you find a flight covering your destination.
Default flexibility is three days, meaning that SkyLow will show all the Low Cost Airlines flights leaving the day selected on the calendar, as well as three days before and three days after.
Flight Selection
What is the difference between flights appearing in dark blue rows, and those appearing in light blue rows?
If flexibility is not 0, then SkyLow will show flights that leave on days that are not the days you have selected in the calendar. These flights will appear in light blue row, while the flights leaving on the date that you have selected will appear on dark blue rows.
Booking
Can I change or cancel my ticket?
The airlines presented on SkyLow have very strict policy concerning modifying or canceling tickets. They usually do not allow any modification or refund. Furthermore, the seats that you can buy from SkyLow.com are the cheapest offered by the airlines. These

To find the cheaper flight, use the “Deal Finder” option.

What is the deal finder tool? How do I use it?
The deal finder is an amazing tool to find the cheapest Low Cost Airline flight. It is useful mostly for people who are flexible with dates and/or are with destination.
- Select city of departure in the “from” section.
- If you are flexible with the destination (want to go on a weekend anywhere, at a very low price), do not select any destination in the “to” section. (Any – for deal finder is pre-selected)
- If you are flexible with the dates, check the “No dates” box, otherwise, uncheck it and choose Departure date.
- Enter number of passenger, according to age.
- If you want a round trip ticket, check the round-trip button, and then select the return date on the calendar.
What is the best use of the “how do I get to” feature?
When you search for a flight, you may find out that there is no Low Cost Carrier flying on the route you looked up. In this case, we advise you to use the “how do I get to” feature. With this feature, you first select the city of arrival, and then, the list of possible cities of departure appears in the “from” section.
